[SYNOPSIS]
수능 D-day 200일, 다들 입시에 몰두할 때, 사육장 담당 인혜는 오리에게 설교하기 바쁘다. 어느 날, 칼을 소지한 벌로 서희도 인혜와 함께 사육장을 청소한다. 둘은 버려진 평원을 발견하는데, 사육장 오리 희선이를 그곳에서 잃어버린다.
한편, 진학부장 김아테 선생은 학교도, 부모도, 본인도 포기한 4인방(인혜, 서희, 정애, 수민)을 모아 ‘수시 면접반’을 만든다. 대학교 면접 날, 인혜와 서희는 땡땡이 치고 희선이를 찾기 위해 평원으로 간다. 숲에서 텐트를 치고 야영하며 점점 야생에 적응해간다.

답답한 학교생활을 벗어나 스스로 안식처를 만드는 이야기를 하고 싶었다.
주인공 인혜, 서희, 정애, 수민은 대학 입시를 앞두고 혼란스럽다.
성적에 맞게 골라준 대학을 목표로 삼았지만, 정작 자기가 하고 싶은 게 무엇인지 모르겠다.
그런 그녀들은 소동물을 구하고 야생에 쉘터를 세우면서 처음으로 자신의 힘을 느껴본다.
영화 <산양들>은 입시를 강요당한 10대 소녀들의 안식처, 그리고 생명으로 존중받지 못하
는 소동물의 안식처를 구하는 이야기다.

문제아로 낙인찍힌 외톨이 소녀들이 야생에서 생존하며 우정을 키워간다.
‘산양들’이라는 모임을 만들고, 소동물을 위해 험난한 모험을 떠난다.
영화 <산양들>은 지금까지 보지 못했던 소녀들의 우정과 모험을 이야기하고,
관객들에게 새로운 소녀물을 보여주고 싶다.

[SYNOPSIS]
With 200 days left until college entrance exams, while everyone is focused on studying, In-hye, who is in charge of the animal pen, is busy lecturing a duck. One day, as punishment for carrying a knife, Seo-hee joins In-hye in cleaning the animal pen. The two discover an abandoned meadow and lose Hee-seon(the duck) there.
Meanwhile, teacher Kim Ah-tae gathers four students—In-hye, Seo-hee, Jung-ae, and Soo-min—who have been given up on by their school, parents, and even themselves, and forms a “college interview prep group.” On the day of their university interviews, In-hye and Seo-hee ditch school and head to the meadow in search of Hee-seon. They pitch a tent and spend nights in the woods, gradually adapting to life in the wild.

“When I was in high school, I felt like one of the small animals in the enclosure.”
This film began with a desire to tell the story of breaking free from a stifling school life to create a refuge of their own.
In-hye, Seo-hee, Jung-ae, and Soo-min are all facing the confusion before college entrance exams.
They’re expected to aim for universities chosen based on their grades, but none of them know what they want to do.
In their journey to rescue small animals and build a shelter in the wild, they begin to feel their own strength for the first time.
The Gorals is a story about sanctuary, both for teenage girls who are forced into the pressure of the entrance exam system, and for small animals denied the dignity of being seen as living beings.
“Teenage Girls’ Adventure Drama”
Outcast girls who are labeled as problem children are building a friendship while surviving in the wild.
They form a group called The Gorals and set off on a rough, unpredictable journey to protect small animals.
This film portrays a kind of girlhood friendship and adventure unlike anything we've seen before, and wants to show a different kind of 'girl movie'.
