[SYNOPSIS]
Gwangju Daein Market peddler Ha Mun-soon and Chinese restaurant owner Bok-ja Park are witnesses of the 518 Democratization Movement. The movement’s sufferings remain as pain and pride. Living as a Cambodian minority, Sli and her mother Neyap worry about how long they will be able to live like this as they go through hard times. Palestinian women who did not stop living even under occupation - Noura and Fatma, growing old in a refugee camp, watched their own children die. How long will this situation last? Will they go home again? No one can dare talk about hope. And when the gypsy women in Bosnia were divided by religion and ethnicity and made enemies of each other, they belonged nowhere and were treated as public enemies. Ramizawa and Amela speak quietly about the precarious lives of gypsy women who have long been the targets of racism. Meanwhile, the director's two children have grown from children to adults in their twenties. They and Sanggu-ne are somehow similar as they live.
[DIRECTORS' NOTE]
People's world history planning series has always been a process that has to overcome difficulties. It was difficult to distinguish between regions, people, and times, and because of my inability to speak the language, I had no choice but to go through the things that beginners always had to go through.
Still, I started working on the fourth project again. It depicts a Bosnian gypsy who suffered from a civil war. While preparing for the first filming, the world stopped due to COVID-19, and the work stopped as the lockdown time seemed to have no end. When I stopped, I could see t women's lives standing next to each work's protagonists. Although they were trembling from the lowest position, they were strong enough to save their life. Despite their different environments and cultures, they resembled each other. Borders, ethnicities, religions and languages cannot become barriers, I sympathized with them and wish they resonate with the audience.

[SYNOPSIS]
[DIRECTORS' NOTE]
